Seeds of Change, Day 5

Apparently I wasn’t clear enough with Makayla. The first day we cut out cookies, brownies, cakes and all things baked. I failed to include Pop Tarts. My bad! So it has become apparent that I need to ramp things up a bit and move on to some technical stuff. I gave her today off by telling her to avoid the things we have talked about so far and be looking for new things she never tried before.

Today, Sunday, I will call her and have her find a bag of chips so we can discuss the nutritional facts on the back of the bag. The challenge for today will also be to avoid anything that contains sugar in the ingredients. I knew there were many names for sugar, but 56! Wow!!!
